**Your daily responsibilities include**


+ Responsible for supervising staff and the overall daily management of a designated shift in the EMS/Security department. Supports, administers and manages operational goals and monitors achievements of performance and profit objectives.

+ Assists in creating effective and efficient schedules, while maintaining labor costs, meeting staffing objectives and achieving guest satisfaction.

+ Assists in the budget process for the department and provide recommendations; ensuring compliance to departmental budget initiatives; reporting budget concerns to manager.

+ Orders and maintains appropriate supply levels for the EMS department.

+ Maintains equipment and supplies inventory records and initiates the requisition and purchasing process for replacement equipment or supplies.

+ Works cooperatively with the Security Manager to develop policies and procedures regarding department operations.

+ Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs. Ensures customer service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise.

+ Ensures all operations regarding the EMS Department comply with the license requirements of the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources, Office of EMS.

+ Responsible for the ongoing training of EMS and Security personnel in emergency operating procedures.

+ Enforce internal control policies and procedures including but not limited too; underage gambling and drinking laws

+ Maintains safety and inspections reports for the property.

+ Prepares EMS incident reports and maintain security logs.

+ Responds to guests and team member concerns and complaints and solve their problems with professionalism and compassion.

+ Interacts and cooperates with regulatory, fire/rescue and law enforcement agencies.

+ Ensures EMS staff adhere to uniform dress and grooming standards consistent with department and company standards.

+ Makes provisions for ancillary personnel (EMT-B, EMT-Paramedic or Staff Nurse) to serve in the roles of EMS Training Officer, Exposure Control Officer, EMS Quality Improvement Officer and Managerfor Track and Casino Divisions of the EMS team.

+ Serves as pre-hospital advisor for HCCTR EMS Department.

+ Interacts and cooperates with regulatory, fire/rescue, EMS licensed agencies, contracted physician (medical director), and 911 EOC's in the surrounding counties.

+ Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management.

+ Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.


**To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set**


+ Associate's Degree (A.A.) in Business, Criminal Justice, or a related field; three to five years' experience in EMS, Security, military, law enforcement or related field ; or equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of three years in an EMS supervisory role required. Gaming experience preferred.

+ Must have comprehensive knowledge of security protocol.

+ Must be proficient in Microsoft applications.

+ Must have excellent organizational and communication skills.

+ Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

+ Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

+ Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
